12 Ways to Tie a Scarf

I thought this would be rather useful in the future...

The Chocolate Show

This past Wednesday, FFP got tickets to watch the Martha Stewart Show live!

It was a really cool experience--being part of a live show!

Everyone in the studio audience won these huge chocolate baskets too:

Lugging it around Manhattan wasn't easy...but the Ghiradelli Peppermint bark was certainly worth it.

Cynthia Rowley Shopping Party

Yesterday, I finally had the pleasure of hosting my private shopping party at the Cynthia Rowley store in New York! (The one that I won at last year's FFP raffle.) It was absolutely amazing! I did not expect it to be that much fun. We had loads of champagne, delicious chocolate cupcakes, and a 20% discount on all the store items! Just about all of my friends bought something, and they all said they had a wonderful time. Cynthia also made an appearance herself and offered some style advice! She was very lovely to speak to. The entire experience was just all around awesome.

Two doors down, Juicy Couture was also hosting an Elle Magazine event! There was also a few discounts and treats available. We had these yummy cake balls covered in glitter!

Swag.

I was in Montclair, New Jersey today and stopped into Anthropologie. There I saw the sweetest cosmetic pouch ever! It's made by Stephanie Johnson. This design features the pouch as well as a cosmetics bag. I absolutely adore the design; both are gold tipped and adorned with flower designs. As much as I adore it, $30.00 for a pouch is a little steep for me. (The bag is $50.)

(Can I get a discount?)

Aside from that, Anthropologie has a lot of pretty goodies: home decor, cutesy books, fragrances, and lovely summer dresses...

Always such a pleasure!

I waltzed into the mall looking for a book for an assignment. I found the book but made a shopping detour as well! H&M has some really, really great spring looks. The fabrics a filled with floral designs and bright, pastel colors to complete a healthy spring wardrobe. I scored a pair of linen cargo pants for $24.50. They amazingly comfortable and look ah-mazing. I also grabbed some slip on sneakers there that would go great with jeans and cute, warm weather skirts.

The real winner was what I got from Charlotte Russe. I walked in during "Happy Hour" and any regular price item of my choosing was 50% off from 4:00 to 5:00 PM only. There I saw this coral, linen blazer! Now, the picture here, from my perspective, looks unflattering here, but it is much more lovely up close.
The color is vibrant and warm for spring and the linen material is lightweight but it's incredibly chic. I can't wait to wear this pop of color!

Things I Love About Spring Break:

Being silly with my friends:
Exploring Aquariums:
Walking down pretty streets in New York:
Embracing your hometown:
Stumbling into old friends:
...And having delicious frozen yogurt with them!
Oh, and warm weather of course!
Enjoy spring break!
loooove,
